UAE Job Resignation?


hi,
I am under my husband visa and am working in a company in Dubai. I only recieved my labour card after 7 months I started work. Now I am planing to resign the job.

Will there be any problem if I leave before one year. Does the one year count from the day the labour card was issued or from the actual day I started work (which is in the contract).

I will not immediately start a new job b'cos of personal reasons. Mayby after 2 years I will think about starting again.

Even if I am under my husbands visa should we need to get a no objection letter (even if I am planing to start work in 2 or 3 years time)

I think you have to ask your questions to the Ministry of Labour. Or you should consult an attorney.
