What kind of lawyer can u become if u dont want to go to argue in court? contract law Maybe be a legal secretary instead? Contract Law - the company I work for has a large procurement team that re-read and reqord contracts with our suppliers. Solicitors - basically from writing legal documents, formalising wills etc. Some family law stuff. Most lawyers don't end up in court anyway. a lawyer for mimes... You could go into real estate law and do loan closings. you don't necessarily have to go to court room when you become a lawyer. if you work for a law firm and you take on a case they will appoint someone to go to court in place of you (called a court attorney). the profit from that person would just go to you and the other lawyer. but corporate law is good too, with a law degree you could basically do anything realestate, wills, succession, different things just try reasearching what lawyers do or the different types of lawyers. There are 4 lawyers that i work for and only ONE (1) of them are the appointed trial lawyer...meaning she's the only one got to court....good luck with your decision law clerk/law office assistant |
