Why do people make fun of other people? IT'S STUPID!!? |
Sticks an stones can brake my bones, but words never mind me. I even teach my kids that people who "make fun" of others are usually the ones that have issues with themselves. They are insecure and feel a sense of control when bringing down another. It's makes them feel powerful. But what power does it really give them? NONE!!! Only an insecure person would do that. That's a sign of weakness. To make themselves feel better about their own flaws. Also could be peer pressure. It's the whole us and them mentality. These people are insecure so they make fun of other people to make themselves feel better. Personally, that is some high school bullshit!!! I don't know how old are you but if you see people older than high school act this way, You need put on you Nikes and run because they are probably talking about you too!!!! The epithet is, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." Some people do things that are pretty funny, you have to admit. I even have to laugh at myself from time to time when I've done something really dumb. However, making hurtful or rude remarks certainly doesn't help anyone to feel better. Laugh about it and let it go - tomorrow is a brand new day for us to screw up! :) They want to upset you, it is their way of getting attention, they have nothing better to do, that is about it. Best thing you can do is walk away. Don't say a word. If you feed into it, then they have won. IGNORE. |
