How long do have to report a felony on a job application?

How long do have to report a felony on a job application?

Unless the application states "in the last ten years," or "last ___ years." You are obligated to always state the felony if asked.
Forever.

Keep in mind that many employers will recognize the folly of youth. So if you keep your nose clean, work really hard at the jobs you do get, and prove to others that you have changed and become a productive member of society, it may not stand in your way.
I am sorry to tell you, but a felony in the state of tx you have to answer that question for the rest of your life. Yes I have been convicted of a felone unless the application shows a time period.
