On a twelve week probation period can i terminate without given notice?

Are you the employer or employee? If you quit without notice, regardless of where you are in your probationary period, your chances for Unemployment Compensation are slim to nil. Additionally, quitting without notice can come back to haunt you later on. Remember you are not the only person who will leave the company and ten years down the road, the person you left high and dry could be the person you are interviewing with for your dream job. He/She will remember. This is coming from an HR Manager who has seen it happen.

If you are the employer, yes you can terminate without notice, but depending on what state you are in, UI rules vary.

Unless you have a contract that is, either way, binding.
Yes you can.
A probationary period is to ensure that you are a good fit for them and you.
If they feel that you are not right for the job, they can let you go at anytime with no reason during the probation period. As well as you can walk during this period if you feel this job is not what you like or wanted.
YES BOTH SIDES CAN
Yep but be careful, they probably won't pay you if you just walk...
The last answer was wrong, you legally must serve out the 12 weeks. It is a legal and binding contract, althought I doubt anyone would want to take you to court on it - you are not worth it.
This should be specified within your contract. It may state in your contract that you are required to give a weeks notice during probation period. Some companies state in contracts that if an employee leaves without giving the notice specified some money will be withheld.
Yes you can the probation period is given to see if you are fit for the job and if you like the job
