Is there a government agency that assists convicted felons with employment and training??

i am having trouble finding a job since I became a convicted felon and would like to further my education. Is there help/hope
out there?

Check for an apprenticeship position with a union. Most are willing to work with former felons, but it will really depend on what the crime was.
