Company layoff before my last day, should I get a package?

Lat week I gave company a notice to quit in two weeks. The company layoff everybody in my group today. I didn't get a package. Am I entitle a severance package since I am still its employee? Thanks!!!

I would say no as you are working your notice, you are technically no longer an employee and therefore not entitled to things the employees get, sorry
Doubtful
YES!
Typically once you resign your position, you waive the right to a severance package, because you have already severed your employment relationship. You might want to check the employment laws specific to your state however.
No - because you had already given them notice of your employment terminating.
It is my understanding that, regardless of any notice you have given, up to your last day of employment you are an employee of the company.
You have given the company notice of termination, but your contract had not been terminated. If they terminate your contarcy prior to this point you can take them to a tribunal to either gain your redundancy package or make a claim for wrongful dismissal.
