How much years of law (School) does it take to be an police officer?

Check with the police department you are interested in working for, they will have the education requirements.

None, you dont want law. you want criminal justice. and i think its about 2. Youll need something else too but I cant remember what it was.
Where I live, you only have to have 2 years of college to go into the training program.

In California, you can enter the academy at age 20 1/2 (you have to be 21 to graduate and find employment as a peace officer). It doesn't require any schooling after high school, although, for promotional purposes, it is good to have some college credits.
