I would like to know the definition of insubordination.? |
I am looking for work related definitions, and legal definitions Insubordination is actually a military term for not following orders. It has been adopted by the business world; the most common interpretation is failing to follow a command that is work-related. For example, refusing to perform a task that would involve committing a crime is not insubordinate; refusing to follow the company's policy on using a timeclock is insubordinate. Hope this helps - good luck. not following a order or going behind one back Look up legal definitions online and see what you come up with. i am sure you will find what you are looking for. Why didn't you just look it up in a legal dictionary? I learned this word when I was about 15 y/o. My brother was sent home everyday with a pink slip and all the things he did that day (he was 10 at the time). He had flipped the prinicipal off and the note said "Joey is expelled from school due to insubordination". When everyone at my parent's house read the note people were flying towards the book shelves to find a dictionary. Wow, I'm just reminiscing now. The story about me asking my grandmother what celibate is will be told on another day.. NOT DOING WHAT WAS ASKED ,REQUIRED AND NOT DOING IT CORRECTLY. by not following orders from higher authorities, by not following rules and regulations of the company. by not obeying your superior, supervisor, boss etc. in legal term, not submissive |
