Does anyone know any police departments that hire at age 18?

I am 17 and iam currently attending itt tech for criminal justice i already have 40 units and i want to become a police officer as soon as i can so if any one knows any departments that hire at at 18 that would be very helpful.

Yuo have not stated where you are located.

Most Police Departments require a minimum age of 21, some at 20, a few at 19 and fewer 18 if you are in the USA.

Here are links for Police Offiser Recruittin 18 and over.

Theree are many more.

Good Luck.
I doubt it. I'm sure you need to go through training and probably have some type of law enforcement degree. Do you have the opportunity to do something like ROTC (I know that's not what it's called). There is something like the military ROTC that is for the law enforcement and they start training you while your still in high school.
If you want to work in a correctional facility (jail), they may start you at age 18, but you probably cannot carry a gun, depending on the state (at least that's the case in California). I think that's why most officers are 21 (or at least 21 when they graduate from the academy, which is typically 6 months long). Then, when you're 20 1/2, you can apply to the academy and, if accepted, begin training for a peace officer.
