How do you get started in the legal field with no legal experience ?

I only have exp. as an administrative assistant.

in all honesty, without experience or education, the legal field (i.e. secretarial, research assistant) is difficult to break in to.
Experience in typing, using a dictaphone, etc. is critical. But you may be able to break into the field by finding a firm that is looking for a receptionist and working your way up. Help out the typist/administrative assistants and prove yourself to the firm. You may want to take some classes at a local business college that teach you the proper way to prepare legal documents. Every little bit will help
I believe law school is the recommended course of action.
