International Law???

I am a pre-law student...for now...I was wondering about international law and its components- I am focusing in global studies but want to combine the two into a career- what are the details in international law...Im clueless...please help : )

i thought that maybe you could mix it alittle with business and do something like a business law kinda thing. each land has its own rules and laws so it will work out only if you connect it with something else like businesss or journal writing or working for a media covering events in diff countries.
It's almost a cliche these days for firms to claim they're "international." The fact is, the ones that don't have an international component are going to lose out, and that presents tremendous opportunities for those with global knowledge and experience. That is because laws from country to country are often completely different, and when business interests cross borders, therein lies a need for someone who understands the differences and can guide a company through them. The best way to get insight into this would be to clerk with an international law firm.
