Are there other majors that I can take if I want to be a paralegal?

If that doesn't work out, I would like the have other options open for me. Yes, I do realize that most of the things I would do would be basically sectorial. Are paralegals is high demand? Where would the be in high demand? Where would it be hard to get a job like that?

Different paralegals have different types of jobs depending upon the specific company (usually a law firm) that they work for.
To prepare yourself well you should take some secretarial course emphasizing keyboarding, you should learn some of the basic programs such as excell and the the others in Microsoft work. Many paralegals deal with real estate items such as closing or mortgages therefore think of some real estate courses. Some courses in law would be helpful. Learn to organize work. Become a notary public and also take some law courses.

It is smart of you to prepare yourself to be a para and also to be able to qualify for some related jobs.

Good luck.
some schools have specific paralegal programs - talk to an advisor
Check out your local community college. Paralegals are in high demand because they are whole lot cheaper than a lawyer.
Took a few paralegal classes
Paralegals may be cheaper than a lawyer, but they have to work under a lawyer's supervision and they can't sign anything.

Most paralegal certificates are 18-24 months. Take basic courses at the local community college, while you are taking the paralegal courses (hopefully, at the same community college).
