Job applications at 15? |
im 14 right now and im late born. like, i turn 15 in october when eveyrone else in my grade's turning 16. i'm a sophmore and i was thinking about working during next summer. so ill be 15 then. i was wondering if there's any way of getting a job at bath and body works or somewhere at 15? cuz then i'll be junior and i really need to save up for college. you can work at 15, you may need a permit to do so and you wont be able to work full-time or really late shifts if they have them..... but you can totally do it. good luck You can only ask. Some employers will be concerned about how hiring a minor will affect their liability. See if you can get a work permit. Arent' they issued at age 15? sorry chicky... I am 16 and if your surroundings are anything like mine u will only be allowed to work at MCdonalds i appllied at least 20 differen places some more than once and nobody likes giving a 16 year old who can drive a job if he doesnt have any past experience... let alone a 15 year old who cannot drive yet the only other option is to get connections with close friends or relatives to see if u can get favour and if u get enough favour u can possibly get a job at say... ur best friend's dad's bookstore or something like that/... you get the idea. Not so sure about retail wanting to hire a 15 year old. You will only be able to work max 15-20 hours a week, you will need a permit. Also they are hesitant to hire someone who can't drive themselves to work. However, if you are intelligent and mature enough they might look past all that and give you an oppurtunity for your first job. Good luck! |
