Will a sealed record appear on a background check?

I would like to know if I had my criminal record sealed by the court would the company be able to see a sealed record? or will nothing show up at all?

Also, if the record is sealed does this still retain the arrest record? Meaning if I have a sealed record, and I have an arrest for theft, will the employer be able to put two and two together?

Depends who is doing the backgroung check.

Why was it sealed? under 18? then they cant view it.

Otherwise it needs to be EXPUNGED. Source(s): www.creditalignment.com
