What are all the different options a paralegal has to chose from for work?? (Law Firm, ... what other places??) There are also large hospitals, county and city offices, the county courthouse, private investigators, bondsmen, title companies, federal government. Source(s): I'm a paralegal law firm, sole practitioner, governmental agency, non-profit You can work for Private Law Firms as well as govt Agencies,Courts, Law Schools. Also you can work in Any large business because all the big companies have a legal department The options are endless! There is criminal law, family law, intellectual law (internet stuff, like illegal downloading, web copyrights etc..) real estate (yawn) law, personal injury (includes wrongful death cases from oilfield work or retirement home negligence cases). These are the most commonly practiced areas. However, if you get your Bachelor's in Communications you can do Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, International Law, work at an American Embassy somewhere like Mexico...but you learn as much as the attorney knows. So, what the heck go for your Jurisdoctorate in Law and become an attorney! |
