What is the youngest age someone can work? |
I am 12 years old and I was offered a job. The job is to make web pages. It would be an individual contract. I would be making webpages and however long it took me, I would get money per hour. Is that legal? Sure it's legal, although I would have your parents look over the contract. After all, who knows better about computers and web pages than a 12 year old? Hey, they have newborns in tv commercials, why not have you getting paid for web pages. 15 but with limitations. At 12, you would be considered too old if you were trying to get a job making Nikes or most name brand clothes. Your hands are too big for the fine detailing. well as your 12 you won't be able to enter into a legal contract on your own ... you will need to get your parents too look over it. You'd be fine. Keep in mind that with most Internet work at home things is that you either have to pay upfront, they are an endless cycle of click (after you fill out one thing, they send you to another page to fill out things) or a combination of both. I recently found a couple of programs that are entirely free to join, all they ask for is your name and email address and they actual mail you checks for what you do.
