Can a person with a felony background become a dental hygienist and be able to obtain employment?

It all depends on what the felony is. It cannot be a violent crime. I am working with a client that has a felony drug charge but can still pursue a career in the dental hygienist program in the state of WI.

Contact your local tech school that offers this program and ask someone in that department. They will know for sure how this questions applies to the state you live in. Source(s): Career counselor
