2 jobs 1 sick note? |
is it aganst the law if i work at one job but give the other a sick note (the other been 2hs a day ) It is not against the law. However, your first employer could say that if you are healthy enough to work one job, you should be healthy enough to work both and fire you for doing so. Nope, not against the law to lie about that. I wouldn't say it's against the law. A sick note is a doctor's advice that you should refrain from certain activities for a determined amount of time. Whether or not you adhere to that advice is completely up to you. If you feel like working and don't see where it will worsen your condition you should go to work. A doctor's note, excusing you from work carries no legal weight. The intention of the note is only to offer some form of proof that you were genuinely sick. The employer will have his own policy about whether or not he will EXCUSE you from work. There is no law broken regarding how you use the note. I don't think it's against the law but if you're working while signed off sick you aren't covered by any personal/company insurance. nope but not morally right Hi, It all depends if you get sick pay from one job and are paid for working at another job, your employer may take the sick pay back off you and you could get the sack. This happened to one of my friends, and she had to pay the money back, luckily she didn't get the sack. Why not put a self certificate sick note in for your other job, you can get them from your doctors. You really cannot work at one job and be on the sick from the other. |
