Does a 168 on the LSAT necessarily mean I'll be a good lawyer or that I'll enjoy being a lawyer?

Does a 168 on the LSAT necessarily mean I'll be a good lawyer or that I'll enjoy being a lawyer?

That's the same score I had. What percentile is it these days?

All it really means is that you have a good capacity for logical thought, and that, as long as your undergrad grades were good, you should get into law school easily. The first thing they'll tell you in law school is that your LSAT grade doesn't mean squat when it comes to learning the law or being a lawyer.

Good luck.
There are no such things as good lawyers, only dead ones.

Getting a high score on the LSAT doesn't assure happiness, nor that you'll make it through law school, nor even that you'll be accepted to law school.
I think it means you have the aptitude to do well in law school, nothing more.
It only means that you have the basic knowledge to begin law school. If you prepared for the test, took some legal courses, and are bright, you can get that score. Whether you enjoy it depends on what type of law you are getting into, and what things you enjoy.

Being a good lawyer is as easy as you make it. You have the SKILLS to be a good lawyer if you can get the 168, but whether or not you use them will be up to you.
In 110% agreement with stig. The LSAT doesn't measure how well you will do in Law school nor does it have anything to do with what you will learn and the endless hours of studying involved. I'm entering my 3rd year this fall and I certainly didn't score in the 160's. I personally think this is the biggest scam of all times (the LSAT.) If you really want to be an attorney and you have the stamina for many sleepless nights you will do quite well. If you go into law school with the idea it is just like undergrad school and decide to put the coursework aside you will find yourself out the door as with anything else in life (i.e., your dream job.)
No and No. That's a good score, though. You'll probably be accepted at any school to which you apply.

If you enjoy what you do, you'll work harder and that will make you a better attorney. There are many, many different types of attorneys and what we do is incredibly diverse. There is a type of law you will enjoy.
I'm an attorney.
