What is the lowest age for a summer job?

This summer I want to get a job. What is the youngest age you can get one at?

It depends on state and the place.

Common ages: 18, 16 and 14.

Chains tend to have higher working ages.
Farms tend to not have working ages.

Dont worry, there is always babysitting/petsitting/lawnmow... etc.
What hemisphere are you in ?
Summer just ended here in North America . . .
Are you from Brazil or Australia ?

You can get a job at any age but it depends on what kind of job. If it's a job that requires you to apply and do taxes and all that I think it's 16 but even a 9 year old can get a job babysitting kittens lol
Generally one needs to be 18 years to secure jobs.
