A paralegal can draft complaints, answer complaints, draft discovery, respond to discovery, prepare motions and letters. A paralegal may also act as a secretary/receptionist and answer phones if one is working for a small firm. Again, it depends on the type of firm you work for, the attorney you would work for, and what responsibilities the attorney would want to give to you. |
