How difficult is it to land a job with the NASD/SEC with law degree?

I am currently in law school, and I have a finance degree. I was wondering if anyone knew how difficult it was to get a job with the NASD (now FINRA) or SEC. How much do they pay?

I love finance and the law is interesting too. I feel that this is my calling. Any opinions?

Very difficult. Doesn't matter what your degree is in. It's how you do during the interview process and of course if you stand out amongst the 1,000's (literally) of candidates who apply annually. I have a number of friends who applied and only two actually made it through the door. Neither secured a position. Source(s): It's a possibility that may strengthen your chances of getting an interview, but depends on the type of internships (what type of work did you do) and where (the organization. A Fortune 500 company or 100?)
They hire many non-lawyers.
