How do I find an at home administrative assistant job???

I am currently an at home mom with 3 young children my 2 older children will be in Nursery and preschool for a few hours daily. I figured that this would give me time to make some extra money to help with our family's income. I was an international and national inside sales coordinater for some time, then moved back to my hometown where I was a legal secretary for 6 years or so. Obviously my knowledge is within law and more specific personal injury law. Are employers looking for this type of worker and if so does anyone have any leads for me in the albany, NY area??? Thanks!

You can start at some temporary staffing firms like Administaff, Accountemps, etc and if the firm likes you they will make you a permanent hire. Many smaller firms do this.
I suggest checking out being a virtual assistant which is home based. It pays well and you have flexibility on your time. I have worked with a virtual assistant since 1999 and she is fabulous. Here's a description from Wikipedia:

Virtual Assistant
A virtual assistant (or VA), is an independent contractor providing virtual assistance in the form of administrative, technical, and sometimes creative services to clients, usually to other independent entrepreneurs and solo and small business practices, such as that of a lawyer or realtor. Virtual assistants work from their own office (hence "virtual"), often at home, thus making it a fairly popular (and growing) profession. It is estimated that there are about 5鈥?,000 virtual assistants worldwide.[citation needed]
