Is becoming an Attorney a good career choice, and quite an accomplishment?

I graduated college 2 years ago with a bachelors degree. I failed to find a job that was to my liking, after persistent searching efforts in my immediate geographic area. I was successful in the jobs at which I had, and made good money, but knew these jobs that I held were just not for me. I just wanted advice in terms of understanding whether or not it is always good to upgrade your education and knowledge to boost your career prospects?

What is it you want? That makes a career. I have been in my same career for 28years and wouldn't change it for any other career. I have accomplished all my goals. I am proud of what I am and what I accomplished. I love my life. Will you be able to say that when you havae worked as an attorney for 28 years? That is for you to decide not for others to say. You want others to approve of your choice of career not you. You must desire with passion your goals and career. I say if you want to be an attorney, get yourself into law school and go for it, if you don't take to being an attorney, set out on another journey. But eventually you will find something you love if you stop thinking about what will impress others think about what you will be passionate about no matter what the chances of failure. Be passionate about lilfe. Take chances, love your life and your work and you will be successful. I wish you much joy and luck in your quest.
To answer your question, I would say no and no. Too many attorneys, do it if you think you will love it. Not a great accomplishment, so many law schools lowering the standards to become a law student to get the tuition money. If you want an accomplishment go climb a mountain, it will be much cheaper.
My life as an attorney.
