Does is matter what school your paralegal certificate comes from?

Do employers really care?

Yes! There are "diploma mills" out there that offer a "certificate," but their programs are not accredited! Make sure your school's program is accredited by the ABA or local bar association.

Aside from that, grades count more than the "prestige" of the school. I would say a private or state school has more bling than a community college, but you're not going to get a para certificate from Harvard or Yale, let's face it!
I want to know the answer too, this is why I am answering this. I want faster access to this. ;)
It depends on where you want to work and who your employer is. If you are in a small town/city, most lawyers won't care where the paralegal certificate came from. Also, if you work for a sole practitioner or a small firm, they may not care. However, if you work for a large law firm (or an international one), they will care.
