Correction Officer Academy, what's it like?

I have already been hired and just completed my first week. I like the job alot and I don't want to do anything to lose it. I will be going through the academy soon and I really don't know what to expect. I would appreciate any information that can get me prepared!! THANK YOU!
WHAT IS THE PHYSICAL PART OF THE ACADEMY LIKE?

Run 1 1/2 miles---physical training -- Akito marshall arts...pistols rifles and shotgun... Classroom for law -- psycology -- what ever else comes up...
This is the tough part--since you have already been hired class is in uniform--as of last week you are state law enforcement officer....
Now the school --- you will not miss one day -- there are no excuses...You will study the books and not allowed to fail any part of the academy--- 2.5 average..You will be dismissed if it lower than 2.5......What ever do not be affraid...Your their to be a law enforcement officer not a sunday school teacher.....Don't be chummy with the convicts they will get you fired... That is the goal -- if your fired -- hire someone else---it is a game---don't fall for there crafty crap

After it is over best training around---annual requal stay in shape..... Source(s): Practice running you have to improve every week on the time.
My academy was 11 weeks--ok.
Thepeople you are baby sitting are not choir boys -- Murders-- rapist and child molesters -- they will stick a #2 pencil in your heart at the drop of a dime.... You have a dangerous job--beware...
