When I was in highschool, I stole a gift card from a store. I was 18. I got caught. Ok, so five years later, after serving 4 years in the military, I want to go to school to become a Radiology Technologist. I read that some misdemeanors can cause some hurdles, but this is rediculous. Do you know anyone who has had problems because of a misdemeanor getting into the medical field? Will I have a chance of becoming registered by the ARRT?
Most often, records of juvenille offenses are sealed.
Additonally, misdemeanors are not often cause for exclusion Being in the medical or police field of employment your are held up to very high standards. Having a criminal record dose not speak well of your reliability OR moral standards.
