I work 72 hour shifts and dont get paid for all my time. Is this legal?

Okay I am currently working a 9 day shift for the lady I am caregiving for. I am working a total of 216 hours but I am only getting paid for 27 of those hours at 9.15 an hour. I am normally working a 3 day 72 hour shift but I still only get paid for working 8 hours a day. Is this even legal? Is there anything that I can do to make it right?

If it is a volunteer job, then it is legal.

It is better if you make an agreement first before you work for your boss, especially when dealing with your responsibilities / duties and rights as well as your wages.

If the boss breaks the agreement in the contract, it is recommended if you ask her first about your wage. If she rejects it, then you can forward this matter to the court.

Kind regard,
Ron
It depends on your job agreement... unless you are a contractor or paid by hour, working beyond hours does not get you extra pay...
