In 1957 why would a birth cert be in circuit court? |
did they do things differntly back then?? also why would it be certifiesd 3 years later?? if u want to see it email me at adopted1960@yahoo.com Adopted person / name change ? > If you were adopted at birth, that might be one reason - the adoption could have crossed county lines. thus requiring a circuit court to issue the certificate. Another explanation might be that the child was born in an unincorporated area or one without a county registrar, so it would have gone to the nearest court for approval. |
