Career advice?

i want to join the police force i'm nearly 18. how do i go about this? and any useful info/websites i can go on?

Each local community is different. You may just be best to call your police department, using the non-emergency number, and asking an officer. Or stopping by your local police station.

Also, here is a link for you:

You can get info about police recruitment across the country from www.policecouldyou.co.uk.
Most (if not all) police forces across the UK do not stipulate minimum entry requirements. What they do look for is experience - of dealing with the public, dealing with confrontational situations etc.
You will be eligible to apply for vacancies as an 18 year old (although there are requirements in terms of health, criminal convictions, bankruptcy etc) - but most entrants now will be in their 20s or 30s - usually because they wil be the ones who will have gained most experience of working with the public.
