Why can't I start a white business mans club? |
I was told that I can't start a white business mans club because it would be raciest? We have a black business mans club, a black women business club but not white mans business club. It sounds like every race can be a raciest but the white people. Who says you can't? It's not against the law? If you are looking for someone to provide FUNDING that's going to be a tough sell. You may also have some diffculty fidning people who are willing to join and admit they are a member of a "white male only" group. But go ahead and try. The reason why female, black, hispanic, etc. interest groups are more common and not frowned upon is because the US government and most state labor laws have declared them to be "protected classes" because they were previously disenfranchised groups. You can it just has to be under certain guidelines. Whites had their time. You'll should be tired of being racist! it got you nowhere then and it won't get you anywhere now. And I'm sure the main reason they won't let you have it is because they know when it comes to something being exclusively for the white community it will be racist. Most of the time you'll see organizations that says black business...yada yada yada, but we just aren't evil like that. We'd allow other races with open arms. |
