Is there a statute of limitations for filling a sexual harassment law suit?

Is there a statute of limitations for filling a sexual harassment law suit?

180 days from the date of the violation. There are some other circumstances that apply in terms of how long the conduct has been continuing, did the victim ask the harasser to stop the offensive conduct, how severe was the conduct (love notes vs. attempted rape, for example) and so on.

Good luck.
you worried????????
Local state laws apply.
no.

is pretty much like murder.
they can get you any time.
Yes....the Fair Employment department (or whatever office governs in your State) will really question why you have waited so long to file a claim against employer/supervisor etc. (if its been over a year) and there's a higher propensity to drop the case if this occurs...
You should go to your supervisor immediately or if he/she is the problem go above them and so on. But try to file as soon as humanly possible for your own well-being
yes
You have 180 days from the date of violation to file an EEOC Complaint.

Some states may have more time, but federal laws gives you 180 days.
