Can anyone give me information about off shore jobs?

My husband is thinking about going off shore to work in the Food industry. I told him all those workers out there have to eat and I thought it may be a good idea. The area we live in has no really good jobs available right now. This could be a good career choice.

Try Rowan they have a website google it .....HAve a friend that works off the coast of L.A. and Texas...it's a good job...
Working offshore jobs can pay very well, but you have to be ready for long periods away from each other. Typically the workers are scheduled for 3 weeks on then 3 weeks off. If you can handle this, then I'd suggest looking into it.
Husband worked offshore when we met.
Do you mean cook on a cruise ship or cook on the petroleum fields?! - it pays good but some money under the table have to be spend to guarantee this job - it is lucrative one. If he is adventurous person it just might work.
