How can you compete with other sales people for commission?

How can you compete with other sales people for commission?

I have been in commissioned sales for ten years. What I did to succeed is I found mentors that I watched and followed and picked their brain. I took the successful people to lunch and learned more about them and what they did to make their business successful. Then I made my own plan as to how I was going to do my marketing. If you are dedicated to learning your business and spend at least 8 hours a day doing something related to that field of work, the commissions are the fruits of the labor. Dedicate yourself to learning more everyday and the money will follow, along with huge successes.

Good Luck!
It seems to me you do not have a guaranteed territory. If that is the case, you have to work harder and SMARTER. Identify the prime prospects of your product or service and go after them. You should also have good people skills and selling skills. Good luck.

Peace and blessings!
