Help with my sales presentation!!!?

Hello peeps! I have a major dilemma! I have a job interiew on Tuesday morning for a team managers job at a call centre (a job which i have done before) however as part of the recruitment process they have asked me to do a 10 minute presentation which details;

"What approach would you take to driving and exceeding sales targets whilst maintaining the highest levels of employee engagement. Detail any tools and techniques you would use and provide an overview of how you would use them in your approach"

The presentation should take no longer than 10 mins and you should be prepared for a question and answer session following your presentation.
If hand outs are used please limit them to 5 pages

I have no idea what to do for it! Does anyone know any good websites to get tips or hints? Even if you have any bright ideas as to how to approach it or experience within this area! Any help is greatly appriciated!

Thank you so much in advance! xx

If I was doing your presentation, I would use1 slide. It would focus on the employees and how your leadership abilities will help the people engage their jobs and their customers.

I would present this slide as a diagram of a continuum.

Great employee performance = enhanced customer satisfaction = greater employee satisfaction = better result = Great employee performance.

The point being that this continuum accelerates as it gains momentum.

People that are engaged by a great leader will be more productive and better customer servants. The customers will sense their passion and enthusiasm and will be more satisfied and/or more likely to buy a product. The employees, in turn, see the product of their engagement and professionalism, and the outcome is better results.

This may sound a little complicated, but it is rather simple and something you can speak to for at least ten minutes.

Let me know if you need more info or help.
If you are not using any real data, fabricate some for at least a previous 12month period and identify your trends (increases, decreases, etc). Forecast your sales goals over the next three months and break them down by month, week, day. For example, if in July 2006 sales equaled 100 units, forecast 120 units for July 2007. Try to make your predictions as accurate as possible and relevant to your environment, which can be difficult unless you have real data. Then tell why you predict an increase and how you plan to achieve it, such as additional staffing, increased call volume, promotional mailers, new sales scripts, etc. Oh鈥?and throw in some charts if you can.

Best wishes!
What they might want to see is a combination of your leaderships, determination, style & knowledege & skill. Added to that is your experience you had ! If you can beat them all , you'll be quite unbeatable - , if not - considering we have less info, at least you could should how serious and passionate you prepare the presentation & how you present it ! But if possible, give them suprise - examples you can have their data in such a short time, proving you're a top notch persistent guy - just on examples !

The subject is quite broad and general - if you do your homework to get their financial statement or identify their sales, it would be best & very imppresive - if not, perhaps you could present what step would you do to identify problem, arranging strategy then how to implement it and ensure it's sustainibility !

Or perhaps you could draw some flowchart ? Or emphasing on some strategy you are familiar perhaps ?

In the end, it's you and your work of art ..:)- go to the stage, show them and enjoy it , good luck !
