What is an average size bonus you can expect at the end of the year? Btw Im in the our companies' Sales Dept. |
15% 10% 8% of annual salary? Please help! Typically sales reps don't get raises because their pay is largely commission based and higher pay comes from higher sales. If you are a salaried rep, and are meeting your annual quotas, I think a 10-15% raise is acceptable. Good luck! Source(s): 10 years in sales. I'm not sure we have enough info to answer your question. A bonus level depends on whether or not you have met your sales objectives. Most companies establish performance benchmarks attached to your performance. For example, if you meet your sales objectives you get x%. If you exceed your sales objectives by a certain amount, you get y%. If you have exceeded your objectives, I would guess 10% bonus would be a good starting point. In every organization I have ever been in, those in commissioned sales never got bonuses just for being on the job. Their year end bonus was always tied to their sales performance. |
