I need a strong, motivating Team Name for my sales team. Any suggestions? |
They're a group of 17 dynamic individuals and I want the team name to reflect their drive to succeed. As a sales professional I always hated stupid gimmicky team names. They didn't motivate me or inspire me to greatness they just made me feel lame. Especially if we had to waste sales time in a meeting to come up with or vote on one. I always let my sales team pick their team name. I would seperate them into smaller groups and give them 10 minutes to come up with a name, then bring the teams back together and let them vote or create a new idea from the suggestions. This was a nice team building event and let them have a say in it so they felt important. I've also asked a series of questions from each person and let them come up with a name from the answers, such as: Person 1 - favorite color - answer - yellow Person 2 - fast animal - answer - cheetah Person 3 - adverb - answer - jumping you get the idea... Then let them come up with a name using some of the answers, such as The Yellow Jumping Cheetah's or Jumping Cheetah's.
