Credit Card Marketing?

I want to know if anyone knows how this works. I have always seen people outside on big sporting events and wherever there are a lot of people. If anyone could tell me how they get that job or just how it works that would be awesome!! Thanks!

I agree with Canadian that you should ask one of them how they got the job.

Most times, the credit card companies hire a promotions company to hit the streets and promote their business. The people you see out there typically get paid hourly, plus they receive a bonus for each person they recruit.

Personally I would never work one of these jobs. Of course that's mainly because I don't believe in credit cards and won't promote other people getting them. If you can't pay cash.... then you can't afford it!

If you really want to get in with a promotions company for extra money, ask about it and then see if the company does other events as well. Many times they do, and you may find something even more interesting. Source(s): 10 years in sales.... 7 years without credit cards!
If you apply at any agency they usually have contracts with some of these credit card companies. My friend worked for one selling long distacne phone plans at my school.

Your best bet however is to ask one of them selling the cards at the event. Never a better answer than straight from the horses mouth.
