Whats the starting salary for a sales associate at Radio Shack?
It all depends on where you live. Usually, it's around $7-$8 depending plus spiffs and commission. But it's totally not worth it. My boyfriend works there and they overwork people and give them a hard time if they need time off. My advice is don't bother.
The starting rate is about $9-$10. Unfortunately, you are also given a monthly quota to meet. If you fail to do so, you are given a warning, and if you still fail in the second month, you are probably history.
The problem that most RS salespeople face is slow walk-in traffic. They cannot go out and try to draw people in, so all they can do is hope that customers walk into the shop, and buy something, not just browse.
