New to Sales?

I just got a great job as a college recruiter. It involves a lot of selling of class and the actual school. Does anyone have any suggestions for website or any suggestions for me that I could learn more about sales.

Thank you,

Philly.

Get the customer's attention. Stimulate the customer's interest. Create the desire to buy. Confirm the action to be taken, or simply close the sale.

Those are the basics. Now go out and read some good selling books. Many authors have different ideas, but if you read enough, you'll find the ones that work the best for you.

Good luck on your new career! Source(s): 10 years in sales.
well there are a lot of sales book material that can be refered to.

the main point i never forgot from school is that you need to convince your clients that they need, want or desire what you are selling. you know, like sell an Eskimo a refrigerator
