What are professional jobs considered to be is being a sales representative one? |
I was told being in sales was not a professinal ob only that lawyers, Doctors, teachers, and being in the ministry are job professinal a sales job is definitely a professional job. CEOs of top companies, Bill Gates, microsoft, Wii. sanyo -arent they selling something? and there are numerous trainings for sales persons nowadays - in fact not everybody is cut out for sales No it is not, unless you have a 4 year degree to have gotten that position. And I bet you don't/didn't. sorry... Really depends what type of sales but many sales jobs are quite professional and many salespeople outearn doctors, teachers, lawyers and the President of the United States. Sales requires a specific set of skills and depeding on the product or service, additional knowledge about that. I think you bring the professionalism to the job, the job does not make you the professional. There is a great book called The Fred Factor that highlights this about the person bringing dignity to their job. Depends what you are selling. Most sales rep jobs are low income and no flash. |
