How to handle pressure in sales field, if the boss is an autocratic ? |
Pressure is common for the sales professionals during the busy periods. How to cope up with this if the boss is an autocratic style of leader? There will always be pressure at work. We can't escape the tension and stress that goes with any job. The best way to minimize the pressure is to plan your work and work your plan and focus on those things which are really important. Peace and blessings! There is no way to escape the pressure of a boss. Unless you are your own boss. So while your working were you are, I am sure you feel the need to do as asked. I know cause I was in that pressure at one point in my life. It is a good thing to do as asked. My advise is not to get into a pissing contest with the boss, remember you work for him. Of course, it should be ethical and conforms to your principles. If you get to please her a lot of times, she's not going to be on your nerves often. I found out people agree to my selling points, arguments if I start my arguments with, example, Bob a co-worker with difficult social skills and not liked by his team mates: Bob , i agree with you. your team mates seem not to go with your ideas . maybe if you try to examine how you deal with them and make it more appealing, your great ideas will be more accepted. I hate to see your ideas wasted bec. I beleive it has potential - you only need to approach your teammates on how they want to be approached" This should be easy for you since you are in sales and youre practically exercising the same positioning to your clients. |
