Hey does anyone know.....?


how old you have to be to work at Gordmans, JC Penny, or Kohls?

Legally you will have to be 16 to work at these stores. However, many larger retail stores will not hire you until you are 18. You will need to check with the specific stores to see what their policy is.

*I did have a friend that started working at JC Penney when we were juniors in high school. Not sure if that is still possible. Source(s): 10 years in sales.
Most places want you to be 18. Because of the child labor laws. I would call them first and ask just to save your time and gas.
You have to leagally be 16 to work anywhere. 15 if you have a workers permit. I know JC. Penny will hire 16 year olds though.
