What questions would they ask on a group interview for a clothing store? I've been through an interview like that, and what I found was they're looking for personality just as much as, if not more than, skill. Be one of the first to answer - don't just sit and wait for someone else to speak up first, but don't interrupt anyone else (you don't want to come off as pushy). Make good eye contact with the interviewers as well as whoever else may be speaking at that time. Greet everyone you meet with a friendly smile and a warm handshake. Remember that they're looking to see how you're going to treat their customers. As far as questions, they'll ask you a lot of what would you do in this situation questions - these will give them an idea of your honesty and integrity. Be confident and friendly, and you should do fine. Remember, skills can be taught, but personality can't. Good luck! I don't know...maybe they just want to know if you wear underwear :) Every interviewer is different, so your question can't be answered. The same questions as a one on one interview. They'll ask you about a disruptive customer, credit card sales, etc. Make sure you are dressed the part and smile. All the group interviews i've been to have called me back by doing these two things. working retail for too many years Gap asks about your shopping experiences good or bad.If they were bad they ask why and how would you change it etc. They might ask what the most important part of running the store is, it's great customer service.Team work is also important. Good Luck and raise your hand a lot , get noticed and I bet you will get the job:) 6 years at the Gap as manager. |
