Is 16 too young to be a sales associate/stock associate?


2 stores at a mall is hiring sales associates and stock associates...and I really want to get the job...except I'm only 16. Is 16 too young, especially if my experience is really nothing but newspaper stuff and baby sitting? What exactly are these jobs, too? Please help me, thanks.

No 16 is a good age to start working as long as you keep up with your schooling when its time to go back. I started when I was 14 but that was in the early 70's by some state laws you can't work that young now.
