Marketing Career?

I am very interested in the marketing world. I am a brand ambassador for several companies but I want to be something bigger. I am aiming for top dollars but I have no idea how to get there. Anybody know what area of marketing I should be going for when I go to school?
I like options!

Take a bachelors degree in business and major in marketing and management. Finish your course first. Marketing is a fast paced profession. Things can change overnight because of rapid technological change.

Peace and blessings! Source(s): My more than 30 + years experience in sales and marketing, and general management.
Learn e-marketing, companies pay top dollars for this. Major companies have switched much of their marketing investments from tv/radio/newspaper ads into e-ads... so go figure ;)
Just a side comment: many companies refer to Marketing when they really mean Sales. Marketing is not selling directly, it is managing the brand and product lines and messages and creating an environment to generate sales. Sales is Sales. Read a few job ads and you'll see what I mean. They're related functions, but NOT the same (Sales and Marketing).
