Is my job really worth it? |
OK everyday i bust my @ss. Everyday the boss/farmer is on my @ss and all the other employees cases. No one can do anything right. Everyone is tired of ptting up with him. We are sick and tired of puting a 110% in everyday and only gettting told we arent workin hard/fast enough. We never receive anything positive, he never says anything like good job, or looks good only thats not good enough. I work 50+ hours makin around $7.50 an hour. His son tells me to pretend like nothing happened but after a while it just breaks me down. I am goin crazy!!!!! What is your input? Ditto on what the first person said, and adding to that, life is too short to be doing it for only $7.50!! You can find a better job! Life's too short to spend 50 or more hours a week doing something you hate. Find another job!! Work is for fools. You should've asked Buddha in your pre-life to incarnate you as a millionare's son. I stockbroke and the money that I started with wasn't even money that I earned, just inherited. I used thinking skills acquired from my rich education to make that money into more money. All without having to sweat anything. well thats always going to be like that because no one can do it the way the owner thinks it should be done. my opinion is it is not a good job. i mean 7.50 an hour that is not too good but it is hard to find some good work that pays you well unless you have some kind of degree. anyways i would give him 1 month and if you feel like quitting then do so. =] good luck time to move on to another job and one that pays more I am going through a similar experience, although my current boss is starting her new job next Monday, so I will not have to deal with her. However, I can empathize. Honestly, it depends how long you have been there. If you feel like you want to stick it out, maybe go your boss and say something like "I am happy with my job, but I would like to know what I can do to do it better...". However, if that doesn't work and your still not happy, start looking for another job and when you tell them you are resigning, give your boss the finger, but only in your head. Mexicans work at least 84 hours per week for $4.15 USD per hour. I suggest you to quit and go back to school. |
