Medical sales?

What do you need to be in the medical sales field?

usually, a medical field background is an advantage like pharmacists, med tech, nurses, etc.

but i do know a lot of people who were accepted for intensive training to become a medical sales rep and their educational background are commerce, mass communications and even engineers!
I don't know for sure Gathina, but i have done the first part of a paramedics course and when i got back to the UK i put my details on a site that lets me know when jobs come up with a title, so for me that was "paramedic".

All of the alerts that have come from that site at the moment, with the exception of one have been selling medical equipment at various levels.

I guess it makes sense because a potential client is likely to enquire about medical matters and performance details of any given product compared to another product.

If this is the case, and you don't have medical experience i would suggest looking into these sites, i got it from the NHS (United Kingdom) and if need be maybe look into finding one of these people to be your sales person or adviser.

Hope this has helped, probably not much, but good luck with it all anyway.
