What do you have to major in to become a pharmaceutical sales rep.?

My sister is a Pharmaceutical Rep and she got her BA in Liberal Studies and her Teaching Credital (She was planning on being a teacher). So I don't think it really matters
You can be a Marketing Major. That covers alot of different areas like sales, advertisement, marketing research, coordinating.
Marketing student/Marketing Coordinator and Staff development Intern.
Rehab.
Pharmaceutical companies require a 4-year bachelors degree in any field to qualify for a sales rep position. In addition, they also require at least 2 years of successful b2b sales experience. Although not required, it might help if the major is science (biology, chemistry, etc.). This will help prepare you for a lifetime of studying and learning scientific data and information. In fact, pharmaceutical sales training may be considered a crash course in medical school.
